NCCR Catalysis fellowships
Young Talents Fellowship
Chemistry and catalysis impact our daily lives, yet not everyone has benefitted from equal opportunities to integrate into the catalysis and sustainable chemistry research communities. With the Young Talents Fellowship, we aim to identify and promote Master's students with an exceptional academic record or potential, especially those facing barriers within current structures. The fellowship provides successful applicants with the opportunity to conduct their Master's thesis project in one or more research groups associated with NCCR Catalysis, and to establish their connections and ideas in a multidisciplinary, cross-fertilizing environment of research excellence. You can find the fellowship description and information on how to apply here and impressions from previous cohorts at the video below.
Boost Fellowship
Chemistry and catalysis impact our daily lives and are popular areas of study at the undergraduate level. In Switzerland, however, there is a sharp drop in female representation at the PhD level and beyond. With the Boost Fellowship, we aim to support prospective female PhD researchers with outstanding academic achievements. The fellowship provides successful applicants with the opportunity to pursue a PhD within one or more research groups associated with NCCR Catalysis, with first-year funding provided by the program. Our goal is to enable these talented researchers to build connections and develop ideas within a multidisciplinary environment of research excellence, and prepare them to become future leaders in their field.
The fellowship description is available here. Applications must be submitted by NCCR Catalysis PIs. The four annual deadlines are 31 January, 30 April, 31 July, and 31 October.
